Day 52:

Her friends told her how foxy she was. She was far more than that. She was the sexiest thing on two legs I’d ever seen.
Maybe because I heard her say she read her, but she looked like a young Virginia Woolf, as delicate, as innocent.
And there she was – That black and white photo replicated in flesh … and beauty.

A sickness of fever and weightlessness knocked me out whenever she was near. Before she walked into the classroom, I was breathing. But in her presence, a vacuum instilled my lungs. And only after her pretty shadow, I gasped for air.

The effortless fashion in flicking her golden fringe off her porcelain face – For her, she was just clearing her vision. For me – Pyrotechnics.

Intelligent, sultry and far shyer than me – All the desired features I ever wanted. But I was a clear and bare commoner before her mysterious majesty. That’s why I thought she and I would never work.

If I could do it again, I’d do it differently.
